Using the App

Congratulations!  By installing this app you have taken an important and commendable first step in improving your reproductive and overall health.  Men’s fertility is an often overlooked condition.  Our goal is to provide you with a simple, effective, and convenient tool to help you and your sperm get healthier.

The Trak: Sperm Health & Fertility mobile app has 3 primary features, which can be accessed by clicking on the 3 tabs at the bottom of your screen:

  • Me – This tool contains a comprehensive questionnaire to evaluate several aspects of your life that may be impacting your reproductive health.  Questions are distributed and evaluated according to six categories: Wellness, Diet, Exercise, Stress, Heat, and Toxins.  To get started, click on each category and answer as many questions as best as you can.  The more you answer, the more we can provide personalized feedback and guidance!  You can access your evaluation feedback and tips through “My Report”.
  • Trak – Trak allows you to input and monitor sperm test results over time.  The Trak Male Fertility Tracker kit is not yet available for purchase, but this tab does include a “Semen Analysis” tool you can use to input your laboratory results, and learn about what they mean.  Simply click the + button on this screen, then “semen analysis”.
  • Learn – The Learn tab provides a gateway to comprehensive information and education about male reproductive health.  Here you’ll learn more about how general health and lifestyle behaviors contribute to reproductive health, see what the experts say about your results, and find an abundance of additional resources to help you take control of your fertility.

Trak’s Me function gives you feedback on the wellness, diet, exercise, stress, heat, and toxins in your life that could impact your reproductive health.  To use this feature, simply follow these steps:

  1. Click on either the + button or an individual category to access the questionnaires
  2. Answer as many questions as you can.  If you don’t have an answer or a question doesn’t apply to you, just skip it.  Trak will only evaluate the questions you answer.
  3. Each category is scored on a scale from 1-100.  You can click on the category icons to see the category score along with tips and feedback from your responses. The total overall score (also 1-100) will be displayed in the large circle at the top of your screen on the Me tab.
  4. Swipe to “My Report” to see how certain responses contributed to your score and a complete listing of all tips to improve your reproductive health!

Note: Blood tests (general labs and hormones) can be entered and tracked under the Wellness category

Keep Trak up to date!  If you make some lifestyle changes or your health status changes, update the Me information.  Trak will store your data over time so you can see how your health and lifestyle scores change and impact your sperm results.

Use the Trak tab to input and monitor your sperm results over time.

Pressing the + button will give you two options:

  1. Trak Result – The Trak Male Fertility Tracker is an at home semen analysis kit currently in development.  Once available, this feature will allow you to input and monitor your Trak results over time.
  2. Semen Analysis – Use this function to input and monitor laboratory semen analysis results.  Most doctors or laboratories will give you a semen analysis report.  Enter the key results here to learn more about what the results mean and see changes between tests, including:
    • Semen parameters: volume, viscosity, pH
    • Sperm parameters: count, motility, morphology

The main screen on the Trak tab displays two features:

  1. The circle at the top of the screen displays the Percentile (1-100%) for your most recent sperm count entry, defined as where your sperm count falls compared to the general population as determined by the World Health Organization (WHO).
  2. The table at the bottom of your screen is a log of your saved entries over time.

The Learn feature provides additional information, guidance, and resources to help you take control of your reproductive health.  Take a few minutes to look around and we guarantee that you’ll learn something!
